Suzhou Industrial Park-University of California, Los Angeles Institute for Technology Advancement (SIP-UCLA ITA) is jointly established by UCLA and Suzhou Industrial Park in October, 2013. The Institute is mainly involved in the scientific and technological innovations and academic exchanges in the high-end disciplinary areas of nanomaterial and nano- devices, new generation of information and electronic technique, new energy and environment protection technique, bio-medical engineering technology and other related areas, together with the R&D of key technology and generic technology, industry incubation, technology transfer, scientific consultation and cultivation of talents with innovation and entrepreneurship.
