Work Responsibilities
Deputy Mayor Tang Xiaodong oversees the work concerning the construction of ecological civilization, and open economy. His responsibilities also include such areas as commerce, ports, the free trade zone, and development zones. Simultaneously, the deputy mayor does administrative work related to the control and prevention of water pollution in Taihu Lake, water conservancy and water affairs management, and management of watercourse environment in the city area.
