The Xiangcheng One-stop Service Center for Expatriates was officially put into operation on Dec. 11. The service center provides not only more than 10 government services but also 8 kinds of life information services for expats to help create a first-class business environment and inject new impetus into high-quality development. Shen Zhidong, secretary of the CPC Xiangcheng District Committee, attended the opening ceremony.
Located on the second floor of the Xiangcheng District Government Affairs Service Center, the one-stop service center integrates consultation, appointment and processing of government services and life services to bring more convenience to expats living and working in Xiangcheng District.
Xiangcheng District has established a “1+2+X” service system to provide expats with quick, accurate, excellent and warm-hearted services covering exit-entry, social security, intellectual property protection, etc. Expats can make appointments at the service window or via telephone, email, or WeChat mini program. And the services are available in multiple languages including Chinese, English and Japanese.
In addition, Xiangcheng District has launched the “Yangcheng Partnership Program”, which aims to build a comprehensive service network featuring collaboration among different departments, diversified forms of co-operation, and active involvement of third parties like hotels, scenic spots, and enterprises in the district to accurately and effectively address the diverse needs of expats and foreign-funded enterprises. The opening ceremony of the one-stop service center was followed by the “Yangcheng Reception Lounge” activity where attendees discussed how to facilitate payment for expats.
